It’s Our People That Count
GP CPA is a Charlotte NC based Certified Public Accountant for your tax, payroll and accounting needs in North Carolina and South Carolina.
While it is essential to know and understand the past, our focus is on the future. If your relationship with your accountant is not based on the future, we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the difference between an accountant and an advisor. GP CPA, P.C. is already the trusted advisor to many companies in the Charlotte, NC area and can be your advisor as well. It’s time to upgrade from your accountant to an advisor, GP CPA.
Gary M. Prusiensky founded the firm in 1995 and his son Justin Prusiensky joined in 2013.

What do we specialize in?
GP CPA leans on technology [Hey XERO!] to make bookkeeping and accounting as efficient as possible. This translates to timely financial information to support our client’s decisions.
What is the difference between bookkeeping and accounting? In short, bookkeeping is more or less tracking cash in versus cash out, and it covers a business’ basic operations. Accounting is a higher level than bookkeeping and is really for businesses with multiple segments, revenue streams, or owners. So, no matter how simple or complicated your business is, GP CPA can organize the financials in a way that works for you. We also run the client’s payroll through Gusto and prepare and advise on all things tax. From property taxes, sales taxes, income taxes; if it is taxed, then we can help.
